The client
Bulgaria’s largest alternative telecom Orbitel. 01001.bg is a VoiP call-forwarding service.
The project
The goal was to design an completely online system that allows Orbitel’s customers to manage their service – from registration and activation, trough payment and usage statistics to help and support. It was a very successful project that saved the company a lot of money, as the clients were able to accomplish all of their task within the online system.
The main challenge was to explain to users what the service is, what are the benefits from using it. and how to use it. After many brainstorming sessions with clients leghty descriptions were replaced with a simple sentence that explained how the service works and what to do to activate it.
The result
The service was successful. Usability tests during the design phase and after the implementation showed very high success rates.
The site won several design awards.The client returned for multiple other projects.
